WHO ARE WE?
Melocine Clothing Ltd is a specialised supplier in the production of fashion and corporate clothing. The company is headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria, and works with production facilities throughout Eastern Europe & Turkey. It is owned and managed by Elly and Mike Hennessy.
Elly is a graduate of the Amsterdam Fashion Institute where she specialised in apparel production, and Mike is an accountant by profession. All our employees are the best qualified in their field and come with multiple language skills including French, German, Russian and Turkish.
The company started operating in Bulgaria in 1997 as a consulting firm offering a range of services, including, quality control and inspection, document translation, customs clearance, price negotiations with manufacturers and other services to assist European brands who wish to produce in Bulgaria.
Today, the company has expanded its services offering a full range of services from product development to delivering ready products to its customers. Geographical location of production facilities has grown to include other EE countries and Turkey.
We specialise in the production of fashion outerwear garments and identity clothing in woven and knitted garments. We have a team of highly qualified technicians managing the production of different types of garments. Melocine works with a customer base in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Ireland and The UK.
Our technical team works closely with our customer's designers to develop and manufacture garments that match the quality level best suited to our customers desires. Our sourcing and production team cooperates with our customers to source and develop fabrics and trimmings. We work mainly with fabrics and materials sourced from within the EU and Turkey.
Pattern-making and development of collections is done in-house or in the manufacturing facilities. Bulk production orders are outsourced to specialized manufacturing units.
The company philosophy is to have a partnership type relationship with our customers. We value our customers business and focus on providing the highest level of service and delivering the quality of product that best meets our customer's expectation.
In recent years, we have put a bigger focus on sustainability, which continues to be a big problem in our industry. Many of our customers are looking to reduce their carbon footprint, work with ethical suppliers and manufacturers, and use sustainable materials. For European brands, we offer the perfect solution!
